The Supreme Bloody Joker
When a prominent American Senator, former Chairman of the House Committee on Strategic Defense Issues, is found brutally murdered in the apartment of a high-class hooker, his briefcase, conaining top-secret documents, is handed to Colonel "Jazz" Sinclair, the top operative in a deep-cover Black Budget operation codenamed Cobra.
Breaking into the deceased senator's mansion Jazz is amazed to stumble onto a cleverly hidden Control Center containing banks of highly sophisticated computers and other electronic gadgetry. Attempting to hack into the data banks he is only partially successful but unearths sufficient evidence to suggest the Senator, seemingly under orders from a sinister force in Britain, manipulating a rogue faction within the CIA and certain elements in Al Qaeda, orchestrated the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade center back in 2001.
Unable to fathom more, Jazz however is convinced the senator had been spearheading a sophisticated campaign to launch America into a War of Resources, with the world's major oil fields as the ultimate prize.
Informing his superior, Admiral Granite Blaise, the admiral is alarmed enough to want to tell the President. But when the admiral is killed on his way to the White House and Jazz himself narrowly escapes an attempt on his own life, Jazz realises he has opened a Can of Worms that could topple the American government.
Going underground Jazz solicits the help of his life-long friend, the celebrated Mafia boss, Fingers Cabrioni, who clamly informs him he has been paced on America's Most Wanted list.
Undeterred, Jazz confronts the Boston Banker who payrolled the 9/11 attacks, in the process falling in love with the banker's beautiful wife, Abby. However, they are soon forced to flee to South Africa where Abby's parents have a secluded holiday estate.
In the interim the British Force has contracted the services of the world's deadliest assassin, known simply as The Woman, to find and eliminate Jazz.
